Beat this cold weather by visiting Stillwater’s new indoor play area for kids: Hullabaloo!
My daughter and I had the opportunity to visit Hullabaloo in Stillwater earlier this week. Located in Valley Ridge Mall, Hullabaloo is a brand-new indoor play space for kids ages 0-8. In addition to an awesome play space, there’s an event space and consignment area.
Here’s what I loved about visiting Hullabaloo: the play space is one big area! When I go to indoor play spaces, I love being able to see my kiddos at all times. Hullabaloo is perfect for that! The play area is one space, that is filled with lots of different toys and activities.
Rachel Hess, the owner, is a local mom and has a background in early childhood education. It’s easy to see her passion and dedication to children in this space! Both my daughter and I enjoyed the variety of the toys at Hullabaloo.
As a mom, I always love to see open-ended toys and there was no shortage of creative toys here! A favorite of ours was the big block area to build large creations, but my daughter was also drawn to the magnatiles on the wall, a wooden slide + climber combination, pretend play, puzzles, dress up and so much more.
The event space had a very cute princess set up for birthdays and the consignment area was filled with cute clothes at great prices. Plus there are snacks available for purchase if your little one gets hungry, I know my kids always do!
Please keep in mind that Hullabaloo is a shoes off, socks on play space so plan to wear or bring along socks for everyone (adults and kiddos). Reservations are encouraged but not required! Free play day passes are $13/child, available most weekdays at 9:30am and noon for a 120 minute window. One adult is free per child, additional adults are $5. This looks amazing! My in-laws love Stillwater and we tend to not have a lot of toddler-esque activities, so this will be a nice option!
