Learn more about the 30+ murals on Lake Street during Lake Street Mural Day on Saturday, October 25th!
Ever wondered about all the amazing and interesting murals that have been popping up on Lake Street in Minneapolis? The Lake Street Council has been busy in 2025 hoping to make Lake Street the epicenter of Minneapolis. They’ve invested over $500,000 since 2020 to help fun murals, sculptures, and temporary art installations on Lake Street.
You can check out all this amazing new art during Lake Street Mural Day on Saturday, October 25th 9am to 2pm!
Lake Street Mural Day is free and open to the public. This family-friendly event will include self- and guided mural tours, mural-themed games, and more among 20+ vendors at the Midtown Farmers Market!
If you are interested in a guided tour of the murals, those tickets are free but registration is required. Tours are one hour and start at 10am or noon. You can reserve your free tickets on their website while supplies last!
Don’t forget you can ride Metro Transit for FREE for this event! All you have to do is fill out a survey and a ride pass will be sent to you.
