2024 Idea Home – MIDWESTERN LAKE HOME
Tour the Midwestern Lake Home themed 1,200 sq. ft. Idea Home furnished by HOM Furniture, including kitchen by Rusco Kitchen Remodelers, exterior and siding by Diamond Kote, and architecture by Threshold Architecture. New this Year – meet with the experts responsible for the Idea Home in the Design Center as you exit.
Fresh Ideas Main Stage
Hear from all kinds of experts on the main stage including Dave and Jenny Marrs of HGTV’s Fixer to Fabulous, Bryan Baeumler of HGTV’s Renovation Island, Stephanie Hansen, TV Host and Author, Ryan McEnaney, a garden designer, author, and fifth-generation family member leading Marketing at Bailey Nurseries, and more!
Feature Gardens
Six talented landscapers from all over Minnesota will show off their expertise with inspiring garden displays with this year’s theme “Minnesota Backyard Party”.
New this year: Make It Take Its, classes presented by the Flower Bar
Design your own flower arrangement during classes taking place at the show! Choose from a variety of options available at different times throughout the show. Not feeling crafty? Stop by and watch the activity, shop for trendy floral items, and even book your own party! Class registration includes a show ticket. Check The Flower Bar website for classes and registration.
New this year: Tomorrow’s Designer Showcase
Explore 8 unique chairs designed and created by students of Dunwoody College of Technology. As part of their class curriculum at the local college, students were challenged to take inspiration from a well known company and translate that into a custom chair. From LEGO to Patagonia – inspired, there’s something for everyone! Come see the final products on display at the show! Presented by Dunwoody College of Technology.
New this year: The Living Wall
Your chance to learn the best plants for your unique lifestyles. A variety of more than 1,000 houseplants will be on display with helpful advice and suggestions of which plant will be best for you! Presented by Lost in the Forrest.
New this year: Pet Fashion Show
Don’t miss what could be the show highlight of the year – Thursday, February 22nd at 6pm. The fun event will feature the latest “fashion” for your furry friends. Presented by Spot’s Last Stop. This woof-of-a-kind event will also be co-hosted by KOOL108’s Lee Valsvik, and you may see a special appearance from her own dog, Doug!
