Inspired Living Idea Home
Tour the 2,500 sq. ft. Inspired Living themed Idea Home furnished by HOM Furniture, including kitchen by Rusco Kitchen Remodelers, exterior and siding by Diamond Kote, decking by TimberTech, closets and storage by Closet Factory and architecture by Threshold Architecture. Explore trendsetting design that meets timeless elegance. You’ll also have a chance to consult one-on-one with the experts involved in its design and build.
Fresh Ideas Main Stage
Hear from all kinds of experts live on the main stage including HGTV’s Chelsea & Cole DeBoers from Down Home Fab and and Michel Boyd Smith from Luxe for Less, Liz Dahl of Closet Factory and Kielyn Simonson of OrgaNice, local TV and Radio Host and Cookbook Author Stephanie Hansen and more!
Feature Gardens
Talented landscapers from all over Minnesota will show off their expertise with inspiring garden displays with this year’s theme “Twin Cities Ultimate Backyard”.
Make It, Take It Sessions
Learn the basics about houseplants in Houseplant 101 or get artistic in a hands-on Pot Painting Session presented by Lost in the Forrest. If you sign up for either of these sessions $35 for Houseplant 101 or $30 for Pot Painting, they include a ticket to the show! Register at Lost in the Forrest.
Tomorrow’s Designer Showcase
Explore furniture designed and created by students of Dunwoody College of Technology. As part of their class curriculum at the local college, students were challenged to each create their own piece – all based on one central theme! Come see the final products on display at the show! Presented by Dunwoody College of Technology.
The Living Wall
Your chance to learn the best plants for your unique lifestyles. A variety of more than 1,000 houseplants will be on display with helpful advice and suggestions of which plant will be best for you! Presented by Lost in the Forrest.
Pet Fashion Show
Don’t miss what could be the show highlight of the year – Wednesday, March 5 at 6pm. The fun event will feature the latest “fashion” for your furry friends. Presented by Spot’s Last Stop. This woof-of-a-kind event will also be co-hosted by Shayla Reeves of WCCO.
The Minneapolis Home + Garden Show will be at the Minneapolis Convention Center March 5-9, 2025.

Theme Days
Wednesday, March 5 – Senior Wednesday
Adults (60+) get free admission at the door with a valid ID.
Thursday, March 6 – Public Servants Appreciation Day
Free admission for all current government workers with valid government/employee ID.
Friday, March 7 – Hero Day
Free admission for all active military personnel, veterans, first responders, nurses, and doctors with a valid ID at the box office
Saturday, March 8 – Trade Professionals Day
Trade professionals from the home building and renovating industries and/or members of affiliated associations receive free admission with a valid associate card and ID. To receive a complimentary admission, simply show your valid ID at the box office. We’ll accept business cards, association membership cards, employee IDs, and IDs from vocational and trade schools.
Sunday, March 9 – Teachers Day
All teachers and educators receive free admission with valid ID.
