Head to Mora this weekend for their Fly-In Airport Event for family fun!
On Saturday, September 21st, you can head north about an hour from the Twin Cities to Mora Municipal Airport for their yearly Mora Fly-In event. From 8am to noon, there will be a pancake breakfast, airplane and classic car display, presentation of colors, airplane rides, pilot fuel discount, paper airplane contest for kids and more!
The Mora Fly-In is free admission, although the pancake breakfast is $8/person with pilots in command eat for free. Airplane rides are $45 per person. Also the Mora Fly-In is a rain or shine event!
The paper airplane contest at Mora Fly-In is a big hit with kids! There are prizes for the pilots of the 3 planes that travel the farthest. The paper airplane contest is open to all children 17 years and younger!
