National Cheeseburger Day Deals

Today, September 18th, is National Cheeseburger Day and that brings us lots of burger deals!

There is now a national day for seemingly every food item imaginable. Today it’s National Cheeseburger Day. (I could have sworn we had National Burger Day just a little while ago.)

To celebrate, LOTS of restaurants are having special deals, discounts, BOGO and free cheeseburger with purchase offers today. Keep in mind that some of the offers require using the restaurant’s app or ordering online so you’ll want to plan for that before you show up at the restaurant.

Here’s a list of those that are available in Minnesota.

• Applebee’s – Get a Classic Handcrafted Burger and fries fo $8.99. Available for dine-in or online orders on Applebees.com or mobile app.
• Burger King – Free cheeseburger with purchase of $1 or more via the app.
• Dairy Queen – Free double Original Cheeseburger Signature Stackburger with an app or online order of $1 or more.
• Denny’s – 20% off any burger.
• Hardee’s – Get a Famous Star burger for $1 with your My Rewards account.
• KwikTrip – Cheeseburgers are half price with the app today. (Thanks, Michael!)
• McDonald’s – The national deal for the day is a $.50 Double Cheeseburger, but we also have a local deal to get it free with $2 purchase thanks to the Twins. Use deal from McDonald’s app.
• Smashburger – $5 Classic Singles available in-store or online with code CLASSIC24.
• Red Robin – Get a Gourmet Cheeseburger, bottomless side and drink for $10.
• Wayback Burgers – Buy One, Get One Free Classic Burger when ordering via the Wayback Rewards program in restaurant, online or via the Wayback Burgers app).
• Wahlburgers – 50% off all burgers.
• Wendy’s – Get 1¢ Junior Bacon Cheeseburgers via the app with purchase.
• White Castle – Get a BOGO on Cheese Sliders using the code SAYCHEESE in the app.

And all week you can get the McDonald’s Vikings offer for a free Big Mac with $2 purchase.
