NOTE: The company that sends the email newsletter is having an issue this morning, but I want you to be already able to see the email that will be coming once they get it fixed, so I’m copying it here. Thanks!

Hi there and happy Wednesday! Have you been following the MN Lynx? They’re now 8-0 for the season! Let’s hope the rest of the season continues the similar way and they can take the title this year – – IF there isn’t another bad last minute call.
We have added LOTS of new content on the Thrifty Minnesota web site this week. It’s actually too much to fit in the newsletters, so take a peek over there to see what we haven’t had space to include.
Quick question for you: Would you be interested in a separate email either daily or else twice a week (likely Tuesday and Thursday) that is ONLY a list of all the new posts on the web site with links to click through if you want to read more? Just reply to this email if you think it’s something you would like and, if enough people are interested, I’ll work on getting it set up. (This “regular” 3 day a week newsletter will still continue as-is, highlighting several of the posts each time.)
It’s another good week for garage sales starting tomorrow with 22 locations on the Minnesota City Wide Garage Sale list (and actually Rice starts their sale today with 10 individual sales open already).
You can also start planning ahead for the weekend with our Minnesota Events Page – or click Attractions at the top of the screen.
I’ll be back again for the Friday newsletter and until then you can keep up with anything new on our Facebook Page and on the web site. Thank you for subscribing to and reading the newsletter. I appreciate it!
Train Days at Union Depot
Train Days at Union Depot in St. Paul is lots of fun for both kids and adults!
Happening Saturday, June 7th and Sunday, June 8th, this is a big FREE celebration of all things transportation. Climb onboard trains, play games, participate in contests, check out the vendor fair and so much more.
Our favorite part of the event is getting to climb on board the locomotives and train cars to get an up-close look.

Book’em Used Book Sale in Bloomington
There are book sales and then there are BOOK SALES!
We love going to local library book sales and sometimes they are big, but the Book’em Used Book Sale in Bloomington is huge with thousands of books making it one of the largest book sales in all of the midwest.
This year they’re celebrating their 30th year with the big sale starting Saturday. (There’s also a preview day with $10 admission Friday.) The sale runs through June 21st and includes not only books, but also DVDs, CDs, vinyl records, games and toys. I’ve had friends say they have found a lot of great jigsaw puzzles there.

First up, Valleyfair discount tickets are back! The offers are a little different this year (at least for now), but you can learn about both Valleyfair ticket deals here.
Just in time for graduation season, you can get a 11×14 Custom Photo Poster from Walgreens for only $1.99! These are regularly $12.99.
On Monday I mentioned the Sport-Brella umbrellas that clip to your camp chairs or patio chairs on sale 69% off. I was able to grab a couple and the ground canopy, but noticed that 2 styles are now sold out. SO, if you’re thinking about these I wouldn’t wait. (Can you tell I’m excited about them? 😂)
Today is the LAST DAY to get an AARP Membership, including all the discounts, for only $11 for a full year AND get a FREE Insulated Trunk Organizer or Red and Gray Spider Splash Day Bag. (It’s no longer only for those 55+.)
The latest freebies on the deals page are a free sample of Pedigree wet dog food and a free subscription to Better Homes and Gardens magazine.
Thanks to yesterday’s Twins game, today we again can get $2 10-piece McNuggets at McDonald’s and 50% off Pizzas at Papa John’s. You can also get a free 6-piece nuggets at Wendy’s today with any purchase using the app.
The half price Sam’s Membership deal came back again and the (in my opinion) even better deal on a Costco membership is still available.
Last week I mentioned Remento, which you may have seen on Shark Tank – they turn precious life memories into a keepsake book. Your parent, grandparent or you SPEAK your memories from prompts and submit photos and they turn it all into a very special book. A friend of mine works with them and they set up this offer for me so that you can get a FREE second copy of your book when you order HERE and use our exclusive coupon code THRIFTYMNBOOK (a $59 value). It’s a great Father’s Day gift idea!
Other great deals with big discounts include 90 dishwasher packs for $9, Stanley tumblers and drinkware up to 40% off, Amazon deals 50% off or more, etc.
For details on these, as well as more local deals and online shopping deals and freebies we’ll be adding this week, head over to our Current Great Deals Page.
