UPDATE: ValleyScare and Tricks and Treats Discount Tickets
The best offer we’re currently seeing is a single day admission plus souvenir bottle with unlimited drinks for $54.99. Comparing this to current pricing for weekend days via the Valleyfair website of $70.43 (with tax) for a Valleyscare Saturday through 10/4 or $15 more starting 10/11, you’re saving over $15 per ticket/drink combo – or $60 for a family of 4. The savings will be TWICE as much starting 10/11 and you’ll be saving $120 for a family of 4 then, so definitely buy your tickets now!
Valleyfair Discount Tickets 2025
We have come to realize that the available offers for ticket deals keep changing up frequently. Your best bet is to CHECK HERE to see which deals are currently available.
When we’re lucky, then the deal is an offer where you can get 4+ single day admission tickets for $33.99 each with NO fees.
Another offer we have seen rotating in is a single day admission plus souvenir bottle with unlimited drinks for $54.99. Comparing this to current pricing for a weekend day via the Valleyfair website of $63.93, you’re saving almost $9 per ticket – or $36 for a family of 4. By the end of June prices go up on the Valleyfair website, so you’ll save even more. The tickets you buy now are valid through July 31, 2025, so if you’re buying ahead for a Saturday in July savings could be more like $56 per family of 4.
The other option that is usually available is 2-day tickets.
Valleyfair Two Day Tickets
Valleyfair doesn’t sell 2-day tickets directly, but they ARE available through this offer where you can do two days for $75.99 total. These do not have to be consecutive days – you can go any two days now through July 31. So you could use one in June and one in July or however you want to do it.
Right now in early June for a Saturday this offer will save you $10.71 ($42.84 for a family of 4), but starting end of June weekend savings can be as much as $21.55 or $86.20 for a family of 4! – more than enough to cover 2 days at Valleyfair for an additional person.
Parking Fees
Valleyfair parking for 2025 is $26 per vehicle – or $36 for preferred parking, which I do NOT think is worth the price. You’ll be walking in the park all day anyway, so why pay $10 extra to just avoid walking that little bit extra into the park from the parking lot?

Which Ticket is the Best Buy?
So, which ticket to buy? A lot of it depends on how many times you want to go to Valleyfair this year and if you know you will make good use out of the unlimited drinks option. If you’re a water drinker, then I would NOT choose that option as you can bring along your own water bottle and get water for free at all beverage locations. But if you like soda or other fountain beverages, the unlimited drink plan can be a great choice.
The 2-day pass is an excellent deal if you know you’ll be going twice during the season. If you think you might go more than that, then you can consider a season pass.
If you plan to go to Valleyfair three or more times this year, then buying a season pass is definitely the best deal! Not only do you get in the park for free, but you also get free parking, 10% off food and other benefits. Season passes are currently priced at $95 for silver or $105 for gold. With your Season Pass purchase through July 10, you’ll also get free Coca-Cola every visit. (Gold includes unlimited ValleyScare visits.)
With a season pass, you are also entitled to two Free Valleyfair Pre-K Passes for kids ages 3-5.

With more than 75 rides and attractions, Valleyfair is the Twin Cities’ amusement park where families come to play the Minnesota way!

Saving Money Inside the Park
As far as money-saving tips at the park itself, the first is to try to go on a weekday if you are able because the park is much less crowded. (I actually haven’t been on a weekend in years so I can’t give you an exact comparison.)
Also get there as early a possible. Crowds start building later in the afternoon and you want to get your money’s worth riding as many rides as possible without long lines.
As far as food and drink are concerned, the first thing is to remember that water is FREE. You can bring along a refillable water bottle or, if you don’t do that, you can also get a small plastic water cup at any food stand.
You can also pack a lunch for your family and keep it in a cooler in your car. At lunchtime, get your hand stamped when leaving the park, go eat at the car and then go back in when you’re finished.
If you’re buying food at Valleyfair I think one of the best value options is the chicken fingers and fries meal because it’s a decent sized portion and shareable. In my opinion the pizza is the most overpriced item.
When does Valleyfair open for 2025?
The first day for general admission at Valleyfair was May 11, 2025.
