Did you know the Minnesota Zoo is Minnesota’s Best Spring Destination (per Minnesota’s Best readers’ choice)? I agree, it’s such a fun place to visit. Especially in the spring- think of all the plants on the Tropics Trail, the cute farm babies and the adventures to be had on the Treetop Trail!
What are your favorite things to explore at the Minnesota Zoo? My kids all love the new Treetop Trail. It’s so fun to be outside and exploring the zoo from above. It’s now open daily with ambassador animal programming happening at the Trailhead.
My daughter also loves all the aquariums- the penguins, the sharks and the dolphins. The dolphins are gone for now but we can’t wait to see what’s new in the aquariums when we go over spring break!
Of course the Minnesota Zoo is known for it’s Wells Fargo Family Farm and the upcoming farm babies. The Farm opens for the season March 15 and Farm Babies then runs April 26 – May 19. Kids always love visiting the Minnesota Zoo Farm!
