Start planning for a summer adventure in Stillwater to ride the Storytime Trolley!
Stillwater is such a magical place. With endless fun shops, engaging parks, the beautiful river backdrop- you can easily spend an entire day or even weekend there. A hidden gem that is my family’s favorite is the Stillwater Storytime Trolley.
Running every Saturday morning from June through mid-October, you have the chance to ride a trolley around Stillwater and enjoy a special storytime. Stillwater Trolley and Valley Bookseller join forces to host these fun events.
After your ride on the trolley, you get to pick up a delicious treat at Valley Bookseller from Candyland (!), and a 20% off coupon for a children’s book.
The Storytime Trolley takes off every Saturday at 10:30am, but we would recommend arriving no later than 10am to find parking and get checked in at Valley Bookseller.
Tickets are $10/person and they typically sell out as we get closer to summer. *Please note the website says 2025, but when you click Book Online Now it takes you to a page for summer 2026.
This truly is one of my kids favorite summer activities, in fact last year I ended up bringing my daughter twice! It’s such a special treat to experience the Stillwater Storytime Trolley. After you’re done, spend the rest of the day exploring downtown, and don’t forget to stop by Teddy Bear Park!
