Head to Litchfield, Minnesota for a fun drive-in movie experience at The Starlite Drive-In!
Do you have a drive-in movie on your summer bucket list? I know I do! I have such fond memories of going to drive-in movies every summer with my family and friends. Now that my kids are getting a little older, I can’t wait to take them to experience all the fun!
Opening for the 2026 season on April 24 the weekend of May 1 (open was delayed), The Star Lite Drive-In is located in Litchfield, about 60 miles west of the Twin Cities. It’s got your traditional set up – drive in your car, find a spot, listen to the movie sound on your FM radio. There’s also an awesome concession stand and restrooms.
The unique thing about this drive-in is that they have two screens! It’s actually the LAST remaining two-screen drive-in in the state of Minnesota! Each screen shows two different movies every weekend.
Start times change throughout the season- it depends on the sunlight, so be sure to check ahead!
