Looking for a drive-in movie experience? Look no further than Verne Drive-In in Luverne, Minnesota!
There’s nothing we love more than a drive-in movie during the summertime! It’s such fun to watch a movie on the big screen from the comfort of your own car. We’ve highlighted a few different options in Minnesota, but we found another option that was new to us– the Verne Drive-In Theater in Lurverne, Minnesota.
Luverne is located 3.5 hours away from the Twin Cities near Sioux Falls. The Verne Drive-In is family owned and currently open Wednesday through Sunday each week. Movies are double feature– so you only pay one price for two movies! Movies are posted each week on their Facebook page.
Now showing on July 25- 31 is Jurassic World followed by Superman. Gates will open at 7:30pm and the movie will start around 9:30pm. Start times for the movies depend on the season as they need to wait for dusk for the screen.
Tickets are $8 for ages 6 and up. Absolutely no outside food is allowed– they have tons of concession options including made to order pizzas, burgers and sides along with typical movie food like popcorn, pretzels, candy and more.
