Wild Things Indoor Playground in Lakeville

I always get so excited when I see a new indoor playground opening up, especially when we are coming into the winter season! My toddler likes snow but sometimes it is hard to play outside when it’s too cold and the winter gear can be so bulky! That’s when we love to visit indoor playgrounds. We had the best time playing at Wild Things Indoor Playground in Lakeville.

Wild Things is perfect for kiddos ages 0-12. There is a huge climber with slides, tunnels, balance bridges and more, but there’s also a smaller area for kiddos 0-3 with a smaller slide, ball pit and spinner. So really each age group gets their own large motor play experience!

There’s also plenty of space for other types of play– there’s an entire area dedicated to large foam blocks, a wooden wall climber, a small tent, balls with a hoop and so much more. We stayed for two hours and my daughter really didn’t want to leave!

Wild Things Indoor Playground also has ample table space and does also allow outside food to be brought in, as long as it’s nut free. It is a socks on, shoes off playground, so be sure to pack your socks or purchase a pair from the vending machine. There’s also large, clean bathrooms, an extra sink for washing hands, a bottle warmer, vending machines with snacks, a party room and more. They really thought of everything when they created this space!

It’s 5,200 square feet so there’s plenty to do but it doesn’t seem too big either. There’s sight lines from almost every play area so I always felt like I could keep an eye on my daughter while letting her explore on her own. I know my older two kiddos are going to be so jealous we got to visit while they were at school!
