Rick’s Bike Sale – World’s Largest Refurbished Bike Sale in Apple Valley

Rick’s Bike Sale, the HUGE refurbished bike sale, is returning to Apple Valley this year on May 10th, 2025!

This popular annual event, Rick Anderson’s 17th annual bike sale is often referred to as the World’s Largest Refurbished bike sale.  Of course that would be difficult to prove true or false, but either way it’s HUGE! 

The 17th annual event takes place Saturday, May 10th, 2025. This year Rick and his team have worked on over 450 bikes and you can shop them all at the sale! There really is something for everyone or quite close to it. 

This isn’t just any bike sale. This bike sale benefits two non-profit groups and Rick proudly mentions that 100% of net proceeds of the sale are given to Kids ‘n Kinship and DARTS.

The only thing they reimburse themselves for are parts and cleaning supplies. They are very big on using recycled parts but sometimes need to buy tires, tubes and kickstands. The total expense is usually less than 6% of receipts.  

Now for the important details, the sales takes place from 10 am- 2pm on May 10th.  The sale is held at the Dick’s Valley Service, 5905 Upper 147th St, Apple Valley. The sale is held inside, so it is rain or shine!

Knowing the sale benefits some great organizations and then with most bikes priced $20-$500, approximately half of original prices, so what reason is there not to go? There are models for all ages and skill levels, including top-quality cycles from Trek, Specialized, Cannondale, Schwinn, Raleigh, Giant and Fuji. Road bikes, mountain bikes, cross bikes, city bikes, cruisers, hybrids, BMX, vintage classics.

Now with all of those details, it’s important to mention if you have a bike collecting dust or maybe you have access to some extra storage space or just maybe you know how to fix bikes, Rick and his crew can always use the extra help.
