It’s never too early to start dreaming about warmer weather! One popular event that happens every year to turn our minds to spring is the Discover Boating Minneapolis Boat Show at the Minneapolis Convention Center, this year from January 22-25, 2026.
FUN FACT: Did you know that the Minneapolis Boat Show is the region’s largest and longest running boat show? This is the 53rd year!
At the show, you can shop sales on new boats from top brands and meet face-to-face with dealers.
As always, the show is full of education and family-friendly events including:
- Furniture & Things Plants and Things Lake Lounge offers you the chance to relax, escape winter for a few hours and hang out with your crew at this Minnesota-inspired Oasis.
- Enjoy live musical entertainment by Jackson Burn Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 3-7pm.
- Fred’s Shed How-To-Center is the place to bring your boat or engine questions. Tech experts are ready to answer them and offer tips, tricks and DIY advice for both first-time boaters and seasoned pros.
- Antique & Classic Boat Display, a perennial favorite presented by the Bob Speltz Land-O-Lakes chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society, will feature vintage wooden, fiberglass and aluminum boats from bygone eras.
- Contests and giveaways each day of the show, including a chance to win a new Sea-Doo Spark, DAKA Low Pro Dock, SunStream SunLift or Paddle North and Prairie Organic Spirits.

Minneapolis Boat Show Tickets
Tickets are regularly priced at $15 for adults and free for children 12 and under with paid adult. Active military are free with ID. Senior Day is Thursday, January 23, where 62+ ticket price is $12 online only.
Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.MinneapolisBoatShow.com or onsite the day of the show.
