The second annual Calmapalooza at Franklin Center in Golden Valley, Minnesota offers sensory-friendly activities for the whole family.
We post a lot of free events here at Thrifty Minnesota, but we also know that there are other barriers besides finances that can keep people from attending events.
If you have someone in your family that needs a quieter, less stimulating experience, Calmapalooza at Franklin Center in Golden Valley might be a good fit for you. The third annual event is coming up this fall. Save the date for Sunday, September 10 from 1 – 3 pm.
This event is full of activities that are thoughtfully designed. The activities will deliver fun while not overloading the senses. Activities include live music, food trucks, music therapy, virtual reality, activity stations, on-site therapists, cooling stations, and more!
