Have you ever heard of Circus Juventas in St. Paul? It’s a non-profit performing arts circus school for youth, dedicated to inspiring artistry and self-confidence through a multicultural circus arts experience right in the big top in St. Paul!
Don’t be fooled by the title of “school” because these performances are extremely professional and entertaining. My son and I have been to several shows over the last two years and we are always blown away by the amazing quality!
Circus Juventas performances are a wonderful mix of story, acting and mind-blowing circus arts. The tricks, twists and leaps are woven right into the story for a truly entertaining adventure!
This holiday seasons show is no exception! Solstice tells the story of a great winter solstice celebration when Jack Frost has gone missing, swept away to the lair of the Summer Sorcerer, who is determined to usher in an age of eternal heat. Only the caretakers of the seasons can free Jack in time to stop the sorcerer and ring in winter!

Tickets are on sale now through the Circus Juventas website. Tickets are $25 for children 12 and under, seniors, students, and military, and $35 for adults. The show is 70 minutes with no intermission. I’d recommend grabbing your tickets ASAP as Circus Juventas shows usually sell out!
