Spelmanstämman is a long held Swedish tradition for fiddlers to gather on a lovely day, play tunes and teach each other new music. This traditional Swedish music festival, complete with entertainers and family activities, is celebrating its 30th year!
Enjoy the FREE fun this Saturday, August 21.
This year’s music lineup includes Ross Sutter, ASI Spelmanslag, ASI Lilla Spelmanslag, the Twin Cities Nyckelharpalag, Laula Aika, Kittiwake, and The Upper Midwest Folk Fiddlers.
The festival opens at 1 pm with the traditional parade of folk musicians, followed by performances from each group.
