Head to Como Zoo for a fun series this summer- their free outdoor concert series called Groovin’ in the Garden!
Como Zoo is a staple of our summer, spending days exploring the zoo, watching the Sparky the Sea Lion Show, rainy days visiting the Conservatory, riding the carousel and so much more. It’s definitely on our summer bucket list year after year.
This year I’m making sure to add their Groovin’ in the Garden Series to our bucket list as well! Groovin’ in the Garden is Como’s free outdoor concert series taking place on Wednesday evenings from June 5 to July 24 from 6 – 8pm.
Concerts are held in front of the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory. Pack a blanket and picnic or plan to purchase some goodies- hotdogs, ice cream treats, beer and wine will be available for purchase.
Don’t worry about the rain, concerts move inside to the Visitor Center Porch if there’s bad weather! Please note: The Zoo and Conservatory close everyday at 6pm.
