Over 40,000 tulips were planted this year at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum and they are in full bloom right now!
Have you ever been to the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum? It’s located in Chaska, about 30 minutes away from the Twin Cities. It’s a beautiful oasis in every season, but tulip time is one of our favorites! In 2025, over 40,000 tulips were planted for the most brilliant display of spring color and joy!
Every year features a new color theme for Tulip Time at the Landscape Arboretum. This year it’s citrus — orange, yellow and green with pops of violet. With over 108 varieties of tulips on site, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
And it’s not only the tulips! Spring brings blooming, blooming and more blooming! Also popping right now at the Landscape Arboretum are the crabapples, daffodils and lilacs. You can see what’s blooming now on their website, it’s updated every Thursday!
If you want to see the tulips, the gardeners recommend visiting ASAP! The warmer weather will eventually end these amazing springtime blooms. We visited on Friday and most of the blooms were completely full, although I did notice a few different varieties that hadn’t bloomed quite yet!
The Landscape Arboretum is located at 3675 Arboretum Drive Chaska, MN 55318. Daily hours for the grounds are 8am- 8pm, while the buildings are open 9am -7pm. Tickets are $20 for adults online and $25 at the gate (if space allows). Children 15 and under are free with and adult.
