Kickoff to Summer at the Fair is scheduled for May 23-26, 2024 at the Minnesota State Fair Grounds. Make plans to attend to save on admission!
The Kickoff to Summer at the Fair event is a chance to enjoy the highlights of the Minnesota State Fair at the beginning of summer. You don’t need to wait until the end of summer to taste your favorite State Fair foods, listen to music, and play some games!
With over 30 food vendors, find your favorite State Fair food and brew choices. Click here to view the menu and vendor list to map out your stops ahead of time.
In addition to the food, there will be three stages of free entertainment available, providing music and activities. You can view the complete entertainment lineup here.
There is so much to do! Participate in activities planned throughout the event as well as shop at more than 20 specialty Minnesota merchants.
Some of the attractions planned for the event include the Giant Slide, mini golf, pickleball, history stroll, yard games, board games, and a chance to win door prizes.
Kickoff to Summer at the Fair Discounted Tickets
Save $3 per ticket when purchased in advance online starting Friday, April 5th at 10 am. Children 4 and under are free and do not require a ticket.
Each ticket is valid for a specific day. You will choose your day when you purchase tickets. This event is rain or shine and tickets are non-refundable.
Parking is FREE for this event!
Kickoff to Summer at the Fair Dates
- Thursday, May 23: 4-9 p.m.
- Friday, May 24: 4-9 p.m.
- Saturday, May 25: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Sunday, May 26: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
