This weekend is the free Let’s Chalk art festival in Monticello! Enjoy the artwork as well as food, music, and fun for everyone.
If you haven’t already seen chalk art up close and personal, you should know that it’s totally amazing!
The artists use an everyday street as their canvas, turning it into something beautiful and awe-inspiring.
I love it when the artwork is a perspective piece that appears almost three-dimensional when you stand in a certain spot.
This weekend (October 22 and 23) is Let’s Chalk in Monticello. This free, two-day street art festival includes not only chalk art, but also live music, food, and fun for everyone.
(And it looks like we’re going to have nice weather this weekend, so let’s get out and enjoy it!)
About Let’s Chalk in Monticello:
Featuring street art by professionals, local amateurs, and art enthusiasts from all over the world. The artists will be creating their masterpieces Saturday and Sunday (October 22-23) on Walnut & 3rd Street in Downtown Monticello!
Join in from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day to watch professionals turn the roadways into works of art!
