Little Shop of Horrors is running now through November 2nd at The Phipps Center for the Arts in Hudson, WI!
I know this blog is called Thrifty MINNESOTA, but we do occasionally cross state lines for amazing events, attractions and deals! One city we love is Hudson, Wisconsin, there’s a great downtown area right by the river, fun local music and theatre and amazing events like the Hot Air Affair happening every February!
One of my favorite things about Hudson is The Phipps Center for the Arts. I’ve seen several shows there now and I’ve been blown away by the talent and affordability of the live performances!
Running right now is the musical Little Shop of Horrors— it’s such a perfect show for the spooky season! Little Shop of Horrors is filled with catchy tunes and a bizarre storyline. Watch as a down-and out skid row floral assistant becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a mysterious craving for fresh blood. All before finally revealing itself to be an alien creature poised for global domination!
Please note the age recommendation is 16+. There are some warnings for this show as well– mild mild adult language, murder, and violence, specifically elements of domestic violence. If any of these are a trigger for you, I would recommend skipping this musical.
