Explore Minnesota in a whole new way! The Minnesota Streetcar Lines offer a Kids Club Membership to check out.

The Minnesota Streetcar Museum runs two streetcar lines in Minneapolis and Excelsior, MN. If you have young children, you will want to look into their Kids Club membership.
I’m always looking for new adventures for my children, and finding great deals is a plus! While children 3 years of age and under ride free, with the Kids Club membership, your child can get behind the scenes access to the museum, too!
There is currently only one Kids Club membership option (there used to be two):
Carbarn Club
The Carbarn Club is for kids from 5 to 17 years old. The benefits include 3 free rides with their membership card, when accompanied by an adult.
Membership also includes a monthly online newsletter, Carbarn Club Bulletin, with information about club activities, fun facts about streetcars, information about the Museum and cars, and interesting learning projects for at home. There are exclusive special events just for kids club members. And members and their families will be able to participate in Museum projects on the cars and along the right-of-way.
Membership in the Carbarn Club is free with a Student or Family Membership to the Minnesota Streetcar Museum. A Student Membership (up to age 17) is currently $15/year, and a Family/Household Membership is $60/year.
In Minnesota, there are two Minnesota Streetcar Lines to choose from.
Como-Harriet Streetcar Line
Step back to the days when the streetcar was king — when Twin Citians went to work, to school, and to play by trolley! Visit the historic displays in our station, shop our unique gifts and souvenirs, then take a nostalgic ride on one of our historic streetcars along a scenic route between the lakes. Your Motorman will provide interesting information about the car and Minnesota.
Excelsior Streetcar Line
Enjoy a trip through historic Excelsior along a half-mile of track built on the former right-of-way of the Minneapolis and St. Louis Railway. The car stops at our car barn so passengers can view a photo gallery of hotels, trains, paddlewheel boats and landmarks from the 1800s; history, in pictures, of the Twin Cities Rapid Transit as it ran in Minneapolis and St. Paul; other streetcars in our collection; work in progress of restoring a vintage streetcar.
When selecting a day for your outing, be sure to check the schedule.
