What is the Split Rock Lighthouse?
The Split Rock Lighthouse is one of the most photographed and visited spots in our state. You will find breathtaking Lake Superior views, as it is tucked within a Minnesota State Park.
If you’re looking to visit the Duluth area this spring, summer, or fall, the Split Rock Lighthouse is a seasonal attraction. This year it is open daily between April 29 – October 23, 2023.
When visiting you can choose from a Grounds Pass, which includes a self-guided tour along with access to the visitor center and historic grounds. If you’d prefer a guided tour of the historic grounds and lighthouse, a Keeper’s Tour is offered. Admission is FREE for children four years and younger.
