Beat the summer heat with a pop-up splash pad created with the water from a fire hose at Centennial Park in Saint Cloud this weekend.
A Pop-Up Splash Pad Event, hosted by the local Park and Recreation Department and firefighters will take place at Centennial Park in Saint Cloud on Saturday, July 15th from 4 pm – 6 pm.
Splash pads have become very popular around central Minnesota the past few years. However, creating a splash pad from a fire truck hose is something creative. Bring the kids to check out this event which I feel is a combination of a splash pad and touch-a-truck type event.
Plan to run through the spray of a fire hose, check out a firetruck and police car, and play some lawn games with your local firefighters and police officers!
This event is free and for all ages. There is no need to register. Remember to bring a towel and dress in clothes that can get wet!
Centennial Park is located at 1725 Centennial Drive in Saint Cloud.
