Rebe’s Play Cafe in St. Paul is an awesome play space/coffeeshop for kiddos birth to 8 along with their caregivers!
I’m always on the look out for fun new places to bring my kids and it’s even better when it includes coffee and we can invite friends! It’s hard to believe but I hadn’t been to Rebe’s Play Cafe until this week when I searching for places to check out. I don’t know how I missed it– because it’s awesome and we will definitely be back soon!
Rebe’s Play Cafe is located in St. Paul at 2054 St. Claire Ave with ample street parking and a large free 2 hour lot located behind the building in between St. Claire Ave and Berkeley Ave. Open every day of the week from 7am -7pm, Rebe’s features a huge space with lots of room to play, delicious coffee and NO entry fee! It’s really hard to find play areas for kids that don’t have an upfront admission charge nowadays.
It’s easy to see how Rebe’s was created by a veteran teacher of 20 years and a mom– both my daughter and I had a great time! My almost 3 year loved the climbing picklers, magnatile wall, slide and dollhouse. But there are endless things to do– puzzles, books, a play kitchen, trucks, trains, and much more.
Rebe’s Play Cafe was the perfect place for my friend and I to connect while my daughter played. There are a lot of seating options for adults and kiddos throughout the play areas. Plus the coffee was delicious! They also have baked goods and plenty of lunch options. I am going to plan to stay for lunch next time!
They also offer children’s language lessons and summer camps in Spanish and Mandarin, along with special community events. There are multiple bathrooms (VERY important when playing with potty-training toddlers) and a retail area with the cutest toys.
I go to a lot of places for my job writing reviews and I have to say– Rebe’s Play Cafe might be one of my favorites! No entry fee, delicious coffee, open-ended and super fun toys: it’s a win-win for the whole family!
