This Thursday through Sunday (March 3 through 5) is Rochester’s annual Social Lights event, in which downtown Rochester hosts themed bars and creative cocktails as well as nightly live DJ entertainment.
This event has been known as SocialICE in the past, but this year they’re opting to skip the ice bars and ice sculptures and instead accentuate the event with wow-factor lighting.
The evening events are (obviously) intended for adults and are free to attend and open to the public.
But Social Lights isn’t just for adults – they also have a FAM JAM event scheduled for Saturday, March 5 from 1 – 4 pm at Peace Plaza. Bundle up the kiddos and bring them to this FREE family-friendly, all-ages celebration of winter.
Activities include:
- Live DJ + hip hop performance/lesson
- S’mores and fire pits
- Illuminated games
- Giant Lite Brite
- Photo ops
- Food & beverage
- and much more!
Check out the Social Lights FAM JAM website for more information and be sure to download a map of events and activities to get a lay of the land.
