Check out the Eastman Nature Center of Three Rivers Park District in Dayton for some family fun! SpringFest 2024 takes place from 10am – 2pm on Saturday, May 18th.
The Eastman Nature Center is nestled in the sugar maple floodplain forest of Rush Creek. It’s a great place to begin an outdoor journey.

Walk across the floating boardwalk, explore miles of hiking trails or visit the nature center. Hop on the bike trails of Elm Creek Park Reserve or sit quietly and watch the creek flow by.
Visitors may see trumpeter swans, wild turkey, bluebirds, dragonflies, and abundant native wildflowers.
SpringFest includes something for everyone! Activities will include insect scavenger hunt, Buggy Kahoot, geocaching challenge, pond exploration, live animals, birding walks, and t-shirt printing. Bring your own t-shirt to print, or we will have a limited supply on hand along with bandanas. There will also be a couple of food trucks on site for food and beverage purchase.
With the weather starting to warm up, what better way to enjoy a few hours on the weekend outdoors? With the outdoor activities planned, you will be sure to learn something while having a good time at Springfest.
This event prefers registration and payment of $8 in advance, but walk-ins are also welcome. If you plan to attend with a group of four or more, you can receive a 20% discount on your group.
Please dress for the weather and wear closed-toed shoes.
