If you have not discovered Ferndale Market near Cannon falls it’s all the more reason to attend their upcoming farm tour on July 20th.
We love to support local businesses and have been known to drive several miles in order to do just that. Sometimes we learn about local business by word of mouth or by reading about it.
The Ferndale Market might not be in our hometown but that doesn’t mean it’s not worth the drive. Perhaps you recognize the name from seeing it in your local grocery store?
July 20th they are hosting a farm tour at their farm located not too far from Cannon Falls, which is a beautiful area to explore if you’ve never been to it.
From 9:00-11:00 you’ll find the following activities:
*Free hayride every 30 minutes to learn about the history of the farm
*See the turkeys up close on the tour
*Check out the store where you’ll find local foods from 100+ independent farmers and producers.
A few years ago, my daughter and I attended the winter event at the farm, it was very well organized and fun! We both enjoyed it.
