are invited to the Walker’s 2nd-annual Teacher Appreciation Night celebrating local educators as they finish up the school year. Teachers will have the opportunity to explore the galleries, pick up resources to help connect themes in current exhibitions to the classroom, and enjoy a free drink.
Doors open at 5 pm. At 6 pm, there will be a short presentation from the Manager of School and Gallery Programs La’Kayla Williams about her recent article for the Walker Reader, “Arts Funding in Local Public Schools.”
Teacher Appreciation Night is free and open to K–12 teachers across disciplines. Educators may bring one additional guest.
