More About the Movie
Voiced by Bill Hader, the Cat spreads joy to kids in his hilarious, signature, and singularly irreverent way, taking audiences on a fantastical journey through a world they’ve never seen before.
In the film, our hero takes on his toughest assignment yet for the I.I.I.I. (Institute for the Institution of Imagination and Inspiration, LLC): cheering up Gabby and Sebastian, a pair of siblings struggling with their move to a new town. Known for taking things too far, this agent of chaos must prove himself one more time or risk losing his magical hat!
With fantastical worlds, hilarious mishaps, and plenty of unpredictable fun, this fresh animated adventure introduces a beloved Dr. Seuss character to a new generation.
The movie features an exciting voice cast, including Xochitl Gomez as Gabby, Tiago Martinez as Sebastian, Matt Berry as the talking fish, and Quinta Brunson as Sherri. Joining them are America Ferrera, Giancarlo Esposito, Bowen Yang, Paula Pell, and Tituss Burgess, bringing even more personality and humor to this imaginative story.
The Cat in the Hat is rated PG.
