Visit Lake City Minnesota for Water Ski Days with music, arts and crafts fair, water ski show, parade, classic cars, and more.
UPDATE: Ironically, due to high water, the water ski show is canceled, but all the other fun Water Ski Days events remain.
Did you know that Lake City is the birthplace of water skiing? Water skiing was invented by 1922 by Ralph Samuelson, which means it’s been around for almost 100 years!
Lake City is located next to Lake Pepin, which is the widest spot of the Mississippi River. They’ve now been celebrating Water Ski Days for over 50 years!
This year’s events, spanning June 27 to 30, include live concerts, arts and crafts fair, water ski show (of course!), parade, classic car show, and more.
Please note that because of the current high water on the Mississippi there may be last minute changes to the schedule.
You can find the full schedule of events on their website as well as their Facebook page.
