Wonder: Experiences of Nature, Curiosity, and Play is an interactive and fun exhibit made especially for kids on view now at the Bell Museum through June 7th, 2026.
Have you been to the Bell Museum? I just adore this place! I love their special exhibits, visiting the Touch and See Lab with my kids, checking out a show in the planetarium, learning more about life through their nature dioramas and more.
Wonder: Experiences of Nature, Curiosity, and Play is on exhibit now through June 7th, it’s a fun exhibit for all ages, but especially kids! This is an extremely interactive exhibit– there’s a life-size nature diorama that attendees can play with and move around, a ride-on bike was a huge hit with everyone during our visit, the tent and trailer areas were fun to explore and start discussions about how we experience nature.
It was especially fun to think about being outside in the summer, since outside right now is covered in white snow! My kids were excited to play with shadows in the tent and they loved the idea that we could take a trailer on a camping adventure one day.
If you’re at the Bell Museum, don’t miss a chance to visit the Touch and See Lab. We love visiting this space because it’s filled with items the kids can actually touch and explore! All my kids absolutely adore this space.
My youngest likes the building areas– mini blue blocks and making your own dioramas. My older two like seeing the animals that are brought out– they got to touch one of the resident snakes when we were there. They were also offering for anyone to hold a cockroach, but no one in our family was brave enough!
There’s so much else to explore at the Bell Museum– additional exhibit upstairs include the amazing nature dioramas and Imagine the Future— all about the climate in Minnesota. And don’t forget the Planetarium Shows. They do have all ages shows that are kid-friendly, just keep in mind there is additional ticket cost and if you leave during the show you cannot re-enter.
The Bell Museum is located at 2088 Larpenteur Ave W St Paul, MN 55113. It’s open Wednesday through Sunday 10am – 4pm. Adults are $15, adults over 65 are $13, youth ages 3-21 are $12 and kids 0-2 are free.
