My son and I had the opportunity to attend opening night and WOW- this production is such a sweet treat! Where do I even begin? My son is 7 years old and he told me Alice in Wonderland has been his favorite performance from Children’s Theatre Company this season. When I asked him why- his response: “it was so silly!”
I have to agree, but know that Alice in Wonderland is silly in the best way. It was a great break from the real world with its fast paced dialogue, endless jokes, amazing singing, colorful costumes and more, and isn’t that what theater is supposed to be anyway?
Alice in Wonderland is about two hours long with a 20 minute intermission. It’s recommended for 6 years and older, although lap passes are available for children 3 and younger. You can expect to see the usual Alice in Wonderland characters- Alice, of course, along with the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit, the Queen of Hearts, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, and more.
The Children’s Theatre Company provides great resources for Alice in Wonderland as they do with all their productions. As a mom, I love that I can keep the conversation going about the performance we experienced together and use art as a tool for additional learning.

Rush Tickets are available 1 hour before any public performance if the show isn’t sold out, just come to the ticket office in person and see if any are available. Rush tickets are $15/children and $25/adult. Don’t forget that groups always save money! A group of 15 or more can save 20% off on tickets.
