At Big Stone Mini Golf and Sculpture Garden in Minnetrista you can play a game of mini golf as you wander through amazing art!
My husband and I ventured out for a date night last night and had a blast. Not a crazy loud concert or anything, but a quiet evening of mini golf and wandering through sculptures, even saw some goats and chickens. Our evening was at the Big Stone Mini Golf and Sculpture Garden, located near Minnestrista.
Apparently this magical place has has been around for over 10 years but this was our first visit to it. Playing mini golf through the sculptures sort of felt like we were in the world of Alice in Wonderland.
Although we went for a date night, we will be bringing our kids back as it is very kid friendly as well.
There is a website here, but I highly recommend the Facebook page for more updated info on the time it is open etc.
We happened to be there for a special event that we saw on the Facebook page, and it included, dinner and an evening movie about Art in Nature. We had a great conversation with the owner Bruce, and sounds like he might try to do more events, so like the FB page as he will post on there.
Big Stone Mini Golf and Sculpture Garden was created by Bruce Stillman in 2004. It’s a wonderful place for people of any ages to enjoy miniature golf, animals, and art.
