We’ve talked about Caponi Art Park in Eagan before as being a unique place to explore. It’s located on 60 acres of rolling, wooded hills that are embedded with art. Caponi Art Park is free to visit, but if you’d like to take a guided group tour or have a birthday party, there are discount options currently available via Groupon!
Options include:
- $20 for $50 Toward Birthday Party for up to 10 Guests
- $27 for Guided Group Tour for up to 10 People
Tours last 45–60-minutes and can accommodate up to 70 people. Tours are available from May to October Wednesday–Friday. Morning and afternoon time slots are available.
Birthday parties last two hours and feature a 1-hour tour, 30-minute art activity, and 30-minute food and gift session. I couldn’t find any information on their website (or anywhere, really) about how much a birthday party costs, so if you’re interested in that option it might be worth a call.
Caponi Art Park, located on 60-acres of rolling, wooded hills that are embedded with art in Eagan, Minnesota, is a distinctive community space offering cultural and educational experiences in an inviting, natural setting.
Designed as a single, unified work of art the meandering trails follow the topography of the grounds like contour drawings animated by everyone who walks them, and the rock walls and shaped hills are the sculpture into which conventional works are integrated.
The Park has miles of walking paths, a sculpture garden, outdoor amphitheater — the Theater in the Woods — as well as spaces for reflection and relaxation. Experiencing the Park is, in a sense, Caponi Art Park’s primary program.
