Sometimes there is a museum or event that exists close to home, but somehow we don’t know about it. This is one of those little gems that I just learned about. The Commemorative Air Force Minnesota Wing Museum, and it is located in South Saint Paul. Looks like a great place for anyone interested in aviation or history. It is open limited hours so make sure to check the days of week and hours here. A bonus that it is free but donations would be appreciated to keep this rare gem around for future generations.
Today, the Commemorative Air Force Minnesota Wing is home to six aircraft, a large motor pool fleet, and a unique collection of World War II artifacts that are on display.
As an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit organization, our members donate their talent, labor, time and financial support to help our mission. For those who have a passion for history, aviation, or just helping out a good cause, the Commemorative Air Force Minnesota Wing is a great place to visit or volunteer!

The C.A.F. hangar is in South St. Paul, not St. Paul. The hangar is down at FLEMING Field, not HOLMAN Field.
