Stop by the East Side Seed Library Open House for free seed offerings, gardening library books and more on Saturday, April 20th!
Looking to get your garden started? I know I am so excited to get my plants in the ground. Don’t miss your chance to visit the East Side Seed Library this weekend on Saturday, April 20th. Seed Libraries are amazing and they typically offer free seeds so you can grow your own plant babies!
From 1-3pm on Saturday, April 20th, the East Side Seed Library will host an Open House. Enjoy first pick of the latest (free!) seed offerings as well as a chance to meet fellow gardening enthusiasts. Urban Roots and MnSEED will be on hand to share their expertise and there will be library books on gardening and plant life available to check out. Dayton’s Bluff Fun Lab will be marking the occasion with plant-themed crafts and activities perfect for tweens starting at 2:30 p.m.
The East Side Seed Library Open House is hosted by Metro State Library and Saint Paul Public Library on Saturday, April 20 from 1 – 3 p.m. at 645 East 7th Street, Saint Paul, MN 55106. This event is completely free and open to the public.
If you’re not free for this event, we have a list of all the Free Seed Libraries throughout Minnesota. Check it out here!
