I definitely recommend tubing as a fun family activity, especially for those with older kids – it’s a blast!
The Elm Creek Tubing Hill is located at Elm Creek Park Reserve in Maple Grove. The regular rate is $18 plus tax for two hours of tubing.
BUT if you go on Wednesdays, you’ll get half off and pay just $9 plus tax for two hours of tubing! Wednesday hours are 4 – 9 pm.
If you like sledding, you’ll love snow tubing. Ride a moving sidewalk up a hill 10 stories high and then soar back down on a specially designed inner tube. Once you get to the bottom, do it all over again. There are steeper chutes for the more daring and easier chutes for those looking for a more laid-back ride.
At Elm Creek in Maple Grove, all of the tubing lanes are designed for safety and fun. All you need are warm winter clothes – Three Rivers supplies the rest. Riders must be at least 36″ tall or 4 years of age.
