Have you heard about the Holiday Sip & Save beverage subscription? Read on for the details!
I was making my near-daily stop at my local Holiday Stationstores shop yesterday when I noticed the sign pictured above. My interest was immediately piqued – a beverage a day for just $5.99/month? That’s just 20¢ per day!
I’m guessing there are people out there like me who regularly stop at Holiday for a drink. (I’m partial to the 100% Colombian Roast with Caramel Macchiato creamer, but you do you.) Considering each XL coffee runs me something like $1.59, this subscription would more than pay for itself even if I just get one drink a week.
So I decided to try it out for myself. I just signed up this morning at the register – it was very easy! I simply grabbed my coffee as normal and told the cashier that I wanted to sign up for the Sip & Save Beverage Subscription.
When I signed up, I entered my phone number on the screen at the register and paid for the subscription (it’s $5.99/month, plus tax). Please note that this is not an auto-renewing subscription – you just pay for a month (30 days) and when it’s done you have the option of paying for another month. I even paid with cash.
All I have to do is enter my phone number at the register now to get one beverage (coffee, pop, or Froster) every day. Easy! Please note there is a limit of one beverage and a 64-oz maximum per day.

Hi Laura, Thanks for sharing this promotion. It looks like it runs thru 07/14 per the dates in the lower right hand corner of the sign. It’s still a great deal if only for a few months.

Frank – Yes, from what I understand it looks like they’re trying it out for a couple months and then see if they want to continue based on consumer interest and feedback. I hope it sticks around!

This sounds like a great deal but they are having big time issues with it. Everything I get a drink and key in my phone number, it charges me another $5.99. After 3 or 4 times I noticed this and asked the clerk about it. Apparently they are having big time problems and the clerks are supposed to take off the charge, but unless you say something they forget to do it.

I signed up on July 1st and it has worked out great! I have not been charged more than once and all I need to do is enter my phone number. I hope this sticks around.

I renewed this monthly coffee promotion for the fourth month in a row just last week. The first three months worked perfectly and I definitely appreciate and use this offer. This last time, the system asked if I wanted to re-enroll, which I chose to do. I paid at that time and tried to use it three days later at a different Holiday. Their system then asked me if I wanted to renew. I informed them that I had already done so at a different Holiday. Since they didn’t recognize it, I was kind of stuck. I chose to just pay for my individual coffee at the time and bring it up to my regular store and correct the problem. When I mentioned it to my regular store today, they did remember me renewing last week but there is nothing they can do to fix the problem (short of paying & re-enrolling again & hoping it works) It’s a system problem that is occurring. I was told that all Holidays should be honoring the coffee if the person mentions they paid for the program? I didn’t know that at the time I went to the other Holiday and they certainly didn’t offer to honor it. Hopefully they can get the system fixed and continue the program??

No they told me if it charged me to let them know and they would take care of it. I did it two days ago and never had a problem. Go into the store and tell the manager he will set you up with a 30 day trial. It is a good thing. They said they had a few bugs to work out of the system.
