Do you want to get out on the water this summer but do not own the right gear? No problem! Three Rivers Park District offers rental equipment for many activities.
Canoes, kayaks (single and double), paddleboats, rowboats, and stand-up paddleboards are available to rent from the Three Rivers Park District.
View your favorite parks from a new angle, through the open water. Three Rivers has watercraft rentals of all types and for all mobility levels.
Recreation equipment rental is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Watercraft can be reserved online up to seven days in advance or in-person. Reserving online is encouraged to ensure availability. However, same-day reservations are accepted if equipment is available.
Three Rivers offers the use of adapted equipment to people with disabilities for participation in general recreation and education programs. See a list of the adapted equipment available for rent.

There are several places to rent equipment within the Three Rivers Park District. Rental reservations can be made online.
Canoes can be rented at several locations for $12 plus tax per hour. Rentals include paddles and life jackets.

Additional Information about Renting Watercraft Equipment:
When renting watercraft, some watercraft rules are in place.
- Each watercraft is required to have a person who is 16 years or older
- Lifejackets must be worn at all times
- Remain on the watercraft, and do not jump or dive off
- People 8 to 15 years may rent a single kayak or stand-up paddleboard if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 16 or older in an adjacent boat
- No pets are allowed on the rental watercraft
