Have you started to look for October events yet? I’m in disbelief that it’s so close, seems like it was just spring and we were looking forward to summer. Here we are days away from October and that means a step closer to the end of it.
The Ojiketa Haunted Drive in Chisago City will be here before you know it. The completely contactless drive-thru Halloween experience at Ojiketa Regional Park takes place October 22,23,29 & 30th from 7-9PM.
The event, which is being created by Chisago City Parks Department and many frightfully amazing volunteers will help deliver the chills and thrills of a typical haunted house experience from the safety of your vehicle. All props will be stationary.
There is FREE Admission! Yes this is a free event. Of course we can’t say how long the wait times will be, this is a first time event. Typically they have an event at the park around this time of year but it’s never been drive through.
Events seem to fill up a little faster this year. There are new safety protocols in place, which also means fewer people allowed. Many things that used to be first come first serve, are now reservation only.
It’s tough to know what crowds will be like and how long wait times will be for events that don’t require reservations. Most events that have made changes, learn and are aware that the changes bring some unpredictability. It could be a wildly popular event or just handful of people come.

Would like to make a reservation for the Ojiketa Haunted Drive. How do I do that?

If you click through the link to their information page it doesn’t mention reservations, so I don’t believe they are necessary.
