This free event for kids and their grownups is one of our favorite events in the Twin Cities. It’s a great way to explore music, art, and culture!
Rock the Cradle takes place at the Minneapolis Institute of Art and Children’s Theatre Company. Join the fun on Sunday, June 14th from 10am – 3pm.
If you’ve never been to this event, it really is great. The variety and venue are both perfect. There are both quiet places and events with a bit more energy so something for everyone.
This year will include some great musical artists and performers: Will Sings Songs, Koo Koo, The Laamartians, Celtic Junction Irish Dance, Young Dance, House of Dance, The Current DJs and more!
Rock the Cradle is perfect for kids 2 to 10 and their families, but all families are welcome to attend.
The event is totally FREE!

Kristi is married with twin daughters. She grew up on a small dairy farm, but now lives in the south metro area. She enjoys finding free or thrifty things to do whether they are outings close to home or last minute adventures to far-away places.
