Here’s an idea for your summer bucket list: SandVenture Aquatic Park in Shakopee!
SandVenture is a unique pool that was modeled after area lakes and offers a sand beach leading out to a sand-bottom, chlorinated pool.
Soak up the sun or build sand castles with the kids on a relaxing summer afternoon.
Daily admission fees are $11/$16 for individuals and $9/$13 for seniors/military. Children ages 2 and under are free.
Save on the daily admission price when you enter after 5 pm (twilight hours). They’re open daily from 11 am – 7 pm starting June 6, 2025.
Thrill-seekers will love the park’s 300-foot waterslide, two 12-foot drop slides, and diving board.
There’s a picnic area where you can enjoy a treat from the concession stand (no outside food is allowed within the pool enclosure).
There also are men’s and women’s locker rooms and family changing rooms available for guest use.
And yes, there are lifeguards!
