Looking for a fun holiday event for the whole family? Look no further than Sauk Rapids Jingle and Mingle event!
Saturday, December 7th is the day to head to Sauk Rapids, MN for their annual Jingle and Mingle event. About an hour and 15 minutes from the Twin Cities, this would be the perfect day trip for the holidays! There are so many fun activities going on, you could definitely spend the whole day in the downtown area.
Let’s highlight the FREE events during Jingle and Mingle, because there is nothing I love more than free, holiday fun for the whole family. There are free wagon rides available from 11am – 3pm, free photos with Santa Claus from 9:30am – 4pm, free performances of the Living Nativity from 2pm -5pm, free cookies and beverages at the Benton County Historical Museum from 1- 4pm, a free lighted parade starting at 5pm and a free Christmas concert at 6:30pm. Like I said– you really could be busy all day long with just the FREE events!
The Llama Wonderland looks to be super fun and most kiddos enjoy snuggling with llamas! This isn’t quite free, but it is very thrifty with buttons only costing $2/each for entry. You can visit the llamas from 11am -3pm and get a free sticker with your visit.
Don’t miss your chance to visit the Artisan Market and finish up your holiday shopping. It’s open from 9:30am – 4:30pm. Lastly if you are in a giving mood, Sauk Rapids will be collecting Toys for Tots from 1 -4 pm at the Sauk Rapids Fire Station. There will be free cookies, hot chocolate and coffee available as well.
