Vadnais Heights typically hosts an indoor Halloween party each year, but this year they’re taking the festivities outside with a Scarecrow Trail and Costume Parade!
First up, the Scarecrow Trail. You can walk through Community Park starting Monday, October 26 through Monday, November 2 and see all the scarecrows built by local businesses, organizations, and residents. Park hours are 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset.
Then bring your kids to the Costume Parade on Halloween at 4 pm. Put on your favorite costume for a socially-distanced costume parade through the Scarecrow Trail! Vote for your favorite entry and get a treat bag. The event is FREE, but pre-registration is required.
Masks/face coverings are required for anyone over 2 years old, and they’ll be collecting non-perishable food items and monetary donations to the Vadnais Heights Community Food Program.
I’m loving all of these seasonal events taking place outside! Fingers crossed we don’t get another Halloween snowstorm like waaaaaay back in 1991.
Community Park is located at 641 East County Road F in Vadnais Heights.
This is a walk-through event, but if you’re looking for a drive-thru Halloween event or Trunk or Treat, be sure to check out our HUGE list of Minnesota Trunk or Treat and Drive-Thru Halloween Events!
