Don’t miss your chance for family fun at the Soar with the Eagles event at the National Eagle Center March 23- 24!
Have you visited the National Eagle Center in Wabasha before? It’s such a fun place to visit and learn about Minnesota’s amazing wildlife. And it’s not every day you can be that up close and personal to the 5 eagles that call the center home!
My son and I visited the National Eagle Center two summers ago now, and we had such an awesome day. Driving through Red Wing next to the river is a great route, and you’re most likely to see wild eagles swooping and soaring next the water this time of year!
On Saturday, March 23 and Sunday, March 24, The National Eagle Center is hosting their annual Soar with the Eagles event. Not only will the center be open and ready for visitors, there are a lot of other fun events going on as well!
Join the National Eagle Center in welcoming back fan favorites Wings to Soar! Husband and wife team John and Dale Stokes return to Wabasha for the first time since before the pandemic and bring their high-energy and highly educational flying bird show to St. Felix Auditorium (two blocks from the Center). Don’t miss this awesome program that features a menagerie of raptors including an albino Barred Owl, Peregrine Falcon, Harris Hawk, Black Vulture, Bald Eagle, Red-tailed Hawk, and MORE!
In addition to Wings to Soar, many other fun activities are included in admission including: button making, bird house decorating, Storytime with Minnesota Author Merici Huggins, a Family Bird Search and more.
Admission to the National Eagle Center is $15 for adults, $13 for children, $3 for Veterans or Military members. It’s recommended to purchase tickets in advance for this popular weekend, you can buy tickets on their website here.
