Don’t miss your chance for family fun at the Soar with the Eagles event at the National Eagle Center March 22nd- 23rd!
Have you visited the National Eagle Center in Wabasha before? It’s such a fun place to visit and learn about Minnesota’s amazing wildlife. And it’s not every day you can be that up close and personal to the 5 eagles that call the center home!
My son and I visited the National Eagle Center three summers ago now, and we had such an awesome day. Driving through Red Wing next to the river is a great route, and you’re most likely to see wild eagles swooping and soaring next the water this time of year!
On Saturday, March 22nd and Sunday, March 23rd, The National Eagle Center is hosting their annual Soar with the Eagles event. Not only will the center be open and ready for visitors, there are a lot of other fun events going on as well!
There’s fun for the whole family, live bird shows, a nature theme watercolor station for kids, the museum and more! Additional exhibitors will include the International Wolf Center who will share information and answer questions about another important, but threatened Minnesota predator – the Grey Wolf. Jackie Fallon and her falcon friends from the Midwest Peregrine Society, the Minnesota Herpetological Society who share some of their reptile friends and answer questions.
Admission to the National Eagle Center is $12 for adults, $10 for children, $10 for Veterans or Military members and kids 3 and under are free. Ticket reservations for live shows are an additional $4/ticket. It’s recommended to purchase tickets in advance for this popular weekend, you can buy tickets on their website.
