If you’re ever in the Austin area, you’ll definitely want to take some time to visit the SPAM Museum! It offers free admission as well as free guided tours.
Yes, it’s real. The SPAM® Museum is stuffed with interactive exhibits that bring the iconic history of the SPAM® Brand to life like you’ve never seen it before! Go behind the scenes and behind the can for an experience adults and kids will savor.
Current hours are as follows:
Museum
Monday – Saturday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Shop
Monday – Saturday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Free guided tours are available on the hour every Saturday and Sunday and anytime by request. Tours last on average around 30 minutes.
The SPAM® Museum has a play area for kids no taller than 48 inches, and interactive exhibits featuring quizzes and games for taller kids.
The SPAM Museum is located at 101 3rd Avenue NE in Austin.
