I love when a beloved park undergoes improvements! It’s always fun to enjoy some new features at places we’re used to visiting time after time.
This Thursday, July 14 is a great opportunity to check out the improvements at the Thompson County Park Open House Event in West St. Paul! Stop by from 4 – 8 pm to see what’s happening.
Park staff will be on-site offering tours and activities in the park. Visitors can enjoy a self-guided walk or bike ride around Thompson Lake to see the new trail enhancements and new interpretive stops. Take in the lake view from the new lakeside plaza and sunset deck and enhanced picnic area.
Kids of all abilities can enjoy the new accessible pollinator-themed playground. AND there will be live music and food trucks! You can also fish at this event without a MN fishing license, and they’ll provide poles, bait, and mentors to show you how it’s done.
Thompson County Park is located at 360 Butler Avenue East in West St. Paul.
