Experience animals and activities of the Como Zoo during the upcoming Wolf Awareness Weekend!
Need a plan for MEA break weekend? The Como Zoo is hosting Wolf Awareness Weekend with activities on both Saturday and Sunday!
Wolf Awareness Weekend takes place October 19 and 20, 2024 from 10 am – 4 pm each day.
This fun, family-friendly event will immerse you in the world of wolves, just in time for National Wolf Awareness Week (October 20 – 26).
Wolf Awareness Weekend Event Lineup:
- Scent Canister Activity
- Mask Craft
- Wolf Sounds
- Taxidermy Station
- Am I a Wolf?
- Storytime: Little Wolf’s First Howling (12 pm)
- Zookeeper Talks (11 am)
- Games and Giveaways from Xcel Energy
And of course, the usual scheduled events at Como Zoo:
- Polar Bear Program (10:30 am)
- The Blaze Sparky Show (11:30 am and 2:30 pm)
- Gardener Chat (1 pm)
- Gorilla Program (1:30 pm)
The Como Park Zoo and Conservatory, located in Saint Paul, is open 365 days per year. Through their mission, the Como Park Zoo and Conservatory hopes to inspire the public to value the presence of living things in our lives.
Admission to the zoo is free, but donations are always appreciated. A voluntary donation of $4 per adult and $2 per child is suggested if you are able to help the team care for the plants and animals.
